SPREADING HOLIDAY CHEER, ONE RIDE AT A TIME

CINCINNATI — The holiday magic is back! Metro’s “Merry, Merry Metro Bus” returns to bring festive cheer, free rides, and holiday surprises to Hamilton County this season!
From Saturday, Dec. 14, through Sunday, Dec. 29, two specially decorated buses will travel across Metro’s fixed routes, spreading joy to riders. If one of these buses stops on your route, your ride is on us! Snap a photo aboard the Merry, Merry Metro Bus and share it on Facebook, Instagram, or X. Don’t forget to tag us for a chance to win an extra holiday surprise!
And keep an eye out – you might even spot Santa or Mrs. Claus behind the wheel!
‘Stuff the Bus’ with Radio One
This year, we’re teaming up with Radio One to present Stuff the Bus, sponsored by Anthem Medicaid and Boost Mobile. Help us “Stuff the Bus” with non-perishable food items to support families in need. All donations will go toward the Freestore Foodbank.
Join us at the following Kroger locations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Santa on the Square
Don’t miss a special visit from Santa himself at Government Square on Monday, Dec. 16, from 1-2 p.m. and 4:30–5:30 p.m. Stop by for a holiday treat (while supplies last) and celebrate the season with us!
Big Metro Holiday Giveaway
This holiday season, Metro is spreading cheer with a special giveaway to show appreciation for its riders and social media followers.
Prizes Include:
· A 30-day Suburban County Express pass, valid on all Metro routes (Value: $150)
· Four tickets to the Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo
· Two tickets to the Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt Ice Rink
· Exclusive Metro swag
How to Enter:
· Comment on any of the three Big Metro Holiday Giveaway posts, sharing where you’re riding Metro to shop or celebrate the holidays, along with the route or service you’re using.
· Tag a business you’re shopping at or a friend you’re celebrating with.
· Follow Metro on Facebook, Instagram, or X.
The contest runs from December 11 through December 20, with three lucky winners announced on December 23.
Metro Holiday Schedule
With the end-of-year holidays upon us, between now and the end of the year, Metro will operate the following holiday schedules:
· Christmas Eve (12/24): Weekday service
· Christmas Day (12/25): Sunday service
· New Year’s Eve (12/31): Weekday service
· New Year’s Day (1/1): Saturday service
