CINCINNATI – As part of our continued efforts to optimize bus service for riders across Hamilton County, Metro will implement service improvements on 22 fixed bus routes, effective Sunday, Dec. 5.
Sunday’s changes come as Metro continues to adjust service in light of the ongoing driver shortage brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as in response to the evolving needs of students throughout the county, including Cincinnati Public Schools, as the school year continues. This primarily involves trip consolidations on some express routes as well as minor adjustments to routes serving students.
The service changes also include the elimination of Rt. 14X-Forest Park Express. Service on Rt. 20 has been modified to accommodate those who previously rode the 14X.
The routes slated for service changes include: Rt. 4, 6, 11, 12X, 15, 20, 23X, 24, 29X, 30, 33, 37, 41, 43, 49, 50, 52X, 64, 71X, 74X, 77 and 82X.
