Metro To Host Virtual Career Fair For New Bus Operators

Applicants can participate in virtual career fair Saturday, March 13
CINCINNATI – Metro is hosting a virtual career fair for new bus operators on Saturday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Metro bus operators enjoy paid training, competitive pay and benefits. Applicants do not need a commercial driver’s license (CDL) to apply. Qualified applicants will receive Metro training to acquire their CDL along with reimbursement for CDL fees.
Metro bus operator pay begins at $16 per hour for trainees, with the potential to earn top operator pay of more than $27 per hour within five years. Metro also provides comprehensive health and dental benefits, retirement benefits and free transportation passes for a spouse and dependents.
New operators will be eligible to receive up to a $1,000 hiring bonus upon the successful completion of their trial trip and probationary period.
Those interested in becoming a Metro operator should complete an application online at go-metro.com/careers. Once an application has been submitted, Metro will send an invitation to participate in the virtual career fair on March 13.
All applicants will be interviewed. Qualified candidates will receive a job offer that day. Bus operator candidates who start within three weeks of receiving an offer letter will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $100 gift card.
