Metro To Host Public Meetings On Upcoming Reinventing Metro Plan Improvements

Upcoming public meetings for metro

Proposed service adjustments are scheduled to begin in August 2024

CINCINNATI — Metro will host four public meetings to present and receive final comments on the final improvements of Phase III of the proposed Reinventing Metro plan, which will roll out in August of this year.

Among the improvements include adding a new crosstown route along with service adjustments to seven existing routes:

  • Introduction of Rt. 61 (Galbraith crosstown)
  • Rt. 77 converts to seven days a week, along with service adjustments
  • Minor improvements to Rts. 6, 21, 32, 90
  • Major service adjustments to Rts. 5, 67.

The public is invited to participate in meetings on the following dates to learn more about these improvements and to provide feedback on the Reinventing Metro plan:

Tuesday, 5/28

  • 12-1 p.m. – Virtual Session | Join the Meeting
  • 5-7 p.m. – Huntington Center | 525 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 23rd Floor


Wednesday, 5/29

  • 5-7 p.m. – Price Hill Library | 970 Purcell Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45205


Thursday, 5/30

  • 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Springdale Recreation Center | 11999 Lawnview Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45246

The Reinventing Metro Plan focuses on transportation improvements that will ultimately boost the region’s economic development and vibrancy through improved connections to jobs and new employment centers, increased frequency, expanded service hours, new routes and enhanced customer amenities.
