Rider Rewards & Fare Capping to launch as perk for frequent riders

CINCINNATI — Metro is hosting three public meetings to gather feedback on a proposed fare restructuring. The meetings will provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the proposed changes and share feedback. They will also learn more about the new Rider Rewards program launching April 16, and the upcoming fare capping feature called Ride&Save, aimed at reducing the cost of using transit for frequent riders.

Public meetings will be held:

  • Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library, Downtown Branch, 800 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45202, 3 South Huenefeld Tower Suite
  • Thursday, April 17, 2025 (Virtual Meetings)

During the scheduled times, multiple presentations of the proposed fare restructuring plan, fare capping, and the Rider Rewards program will be made. Attendees are encouraged to complete a comment form to provide their feedback.

All comments received by 11:59 p.m. on April 21, 2025, will become part of the official public record and will be considered by the Metro Board of Trustees. In addition to the public meeting, comments may be submitted in the following ways:

Rider Rewards Program

Launching on April 16, Metro riders using the Transit App with EZ Fare will be able to earn points on rides they take, surveys, and other promotional campaigns that can be redeemed for gift cards and prizes at local and national retailers.
