September 12, 2022
Metro staff will hold a final meeting to collect feedback from the community and present the results of a Title VI equity study on proposed service improvements planned for December 2022 on Thursday, Sept. 15.
CINCINNATI – Metro staff will hold a final meeting to collect feedback from the community and present the results of a Title VI equity study on proposed service improvements planned for December 2022 on Thursday, Sept. 15, 5-7 p.m. at the Huntington Center, 525 Vine St., Floor 23, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
The service upgrades proposed during these meetings will mark the transit agency’s move into Phase 2 of its five-phase Reinventing Metro plan, which Hamilton County voters helped fund by passing a new transportation sales tax levy in 2020.
The plan focuses on transit improvements that ultimately will boost the region’s economic development and vibrancy through improved connections to jobs and new employment centers, increased frequency, expanded service, new routes and enhanced customer amenities.
Nine existing routes – Rts. 4, 15, 16, 17, 20, 24, 43, 67 and 78 – will see major service changes, in addition to two new routes and the pilot launch of our new, on-demand mobility service, MetroNow!.
