Metro To Hold Public Meetings Ahead Of Proposed December Service Changes

Improvements to include more crosstown routes & access to employment and medical centers.
CINCINNATI – As Metro prepares to enter into phase III of its Reinventing Metro service improvements, the agency is seeking public feedback ahead of its December service change.
The proposed service improvements includes the addition of new crosstown services and realignments that provide improved service to more employment locations and medical centers.
There will be one on-site public meeting in addition to two virtual public meetings on the following dates and times. For anyone unable to attend a public meeting, feedback may also be provided via survey:
- Onsite: Oct. 2, 5-7 p.m., Huntington Center, 525 Vine St. 23rd FL.

Proposed December service change summary:
- Rt. 22 Glenway Crossing Transit Center – Madisonville: New peak-only express crosstown connecting Glenway/Warsaw Ave corridor to Madison Rd corridor express
- Rt. 36 Price Hill-Norwood: New local crosstown route connecting Price Hill, S. Fairmount, Uptown, Avondale & Norwood
- Rt. 5 Oakley-Sharonville Crosstown: Realignment to serve park, and residential/retail
- Rt. 24 Anderson-Uptown: Extended to Northside Transit Center with faster connections from Eastside to Northwest areas of Hamilton County
- Rt. 67 Kemper Crosstown: Realigned to serve the Sharonville Convention Center and surrounding hotels and businesses
- Rt.42X West Chester Suburban Express: At the request of Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA), the Rt. 42X will be discontinued and replaced by the new CincyLink operated by BCRTA
