Metro services on holiday schedule for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23.

CINCINNATI – Metro is pleased to announce once again that we are kicking off the holiday shopping season and encouraging everyone to shop local and avoid the hassles of traffic and parking this year with FREE fares on all Metro, Access paratransit and MetroNOW! rides on Black Friday, Nov. 24.

“With new routes, 24-hour service on major routes, longer weekend hours, increased frequency and the rollout of our new on-demand service, MetroNOW!, it is truly a great time to start a new holiday tradition and do your shopping on Metro,” said Brandy Jones, Senior Vice President of External Affairs, Metro. “The holidays are a busy season, so let Metro take away the stress of traffic and parking. With the added advantage of free fare on Black Friday – that’s more cash to spend on friends and family.”

In observation of the Thanksgiving holiday, Metro’s fixed route, Access paratransit and MetroNOW! on-demand services will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 23. Metro’s administrative and sales offices will also be closed.
