METRO TO OFFER $0.50 FARE ON RT. 46 TO MACY’S KIDS, CULTURES, CRITTERS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL ON JULY 18

Once again, Metro will partner with Learning Through Art, Inc. to provide reduced fare on its Rt. 46 Avondale bus to this year’s Macy's Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival. The festival will take place Wednesday, July 18 from 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m. at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.

Rides on the Rt. 46 Metro bus will be $0.50 each way and $1 round trip all day long. The zoo is offering $1 general admission during the event.

Enjoy Art on Board
Rt. 46 riders will have some special entertainment on their ride the afternoon of July 18. Violinist Edmund Oxley will be riding from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. and jazz guitarist Sylvain Acher will ride from 2:10 to 3:10 p.m.

Learning Through Art, Inc. is a Cincinnati-based organization dedicated to providing quality performing arts programs in support of arts integrated education, literacy, community development and engagement- encouraging multi-cultural awareness and understanding.

Now in its 13th year, Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters & Crafts Festival supports early childhood literacy programs through family-friendly entertainment, celebrating cultures through music and art at one of the nation’s top zoos. In 2017, the festival drew a record crowd of more than 23,000 people.
