METRO ON REGULAR SCHEDULE FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY

Metro will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 15.

Metro will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 15. Access, Metro’s service for people with disabilities, will also operate on a regular schedule. Metro’s call center will remain open, however, the sales and administrative offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Metro will run on a regular schedule because many businesses are open and the reduced level of holiday service would make it difficult or impossible for many people to get to work.

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Metro’s bus dedicated to Rosa Parks will participate in the Annual Commemorative March, sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition of Greater Cincinnati, on Monday. The march is open to the public and begins at the Freedom Center’s Harriet Tubman Theater at 10:30 a.m., proceeds to Fountain Square, and to the Taft Theatre. The Rosa Parks bus will provide seating for those unable to make the 1-mile walk who would like to participate in the march. For more information about this event, visit www.mlkcoalition.org.
