METRO TO HOST TWO FALL OPERATOR CAREER DAYS
Are you looking for rewarding work with great benefits? Now is the time to consider a career with Metro.
Metro will host two Operator Career Days this fall for anyone interested in learning more about becoming a Metro bus operator. Career Days will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Metro’s Queensgate Garage, 1401 Bank Street in Cincinnati, on the following dates:
Saturday, Nov. 4
Saturday, Dec. 2
Operator Career Day attendees can experience a day in route with an operator to get an up-close look at the skills and training needed to succeed. Hiring assessments and interviews will also be available on-site, as well as information about the many employee benefits at Metro.
Applicants do not need to have a CDL to apply. Qualified applicants will receive assistance from Metro through the CDL process and reimbursement for their CDL fees. Metro bus operators receive competitive pay starting at $15.86 an hour, comprehensive health and dental benefits, retirement benefits and free transportation passes for a spouse and dependents. Additionally, operators will receive a $500 hiring bonus upon the successful completion of training.
Those interested in attending a Metro Operator Career Day are asked to complete an online application here prior to attending the event. For more information or to register for an Operator Career Day, call 513-632-7559.
