Metro is looking for passionate, community-minded individuals who have a ‘drive’ for success to become Metro bus operators.

–  Metro is looking for passionate, community-minded individuals who have a ‘drive’ for success to become Metro bus operators.

Metro will host an Operator Career Day for anyone interested in learning more about a career as an operator on Saturday, March 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Metro’s Queensgate Garage, 1401 Bank Street in Cincinnati.

Interested individuals can experience a day in route with an operator to see firsthand the skills and training needed for the job. They will also have the opportunity to take the hiring assessment on-site, and learn about the many employee benefits at Metro.

Applicants do not need to have a CDL to apply. Metro will assist qualified applicants through the process and even reimburse them for their CDL fees. Metro offers competitive pay starting at $15.86 an hour, comprehensive health and dental insurance, free transportation passes for spouse and dependents and retirement benefits.
