METRO: ALL SERVICE OPERATING, SOME DELAYS AND DETOURS

CINCINNATI –As of 6 a.m., all Metro service is operating with a few detours in effect and minor service delays as bus drivers are using extra caution on snowy roads. More detours and delays are possible this morning.

  • Metro’s website www.go-metro.com also provides bus detour information and bus schedules.

  • Metro’s Detour Hotline at 632-7538 provides a recorded message, updated continuously from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on severe winter weather days to give the most current bus detour information.

  • Metro’s call center at 621-4455 is open weekdays 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for complete bus-riding information.

Metro buses cannot stop safely on snowy or icy hills. Customers should board at the top or bottom of hills.

Half of all Metro trips are related to employment and about 20% of downtown commuters ride Metro to and from work.

Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 20 million rides per year. Metro supports the economy, protects the environment, encourages energy independence, and improves the quality of life in Greater Cincinnati.
