CONSTRUCTION WORK -
MAIN & 6th

Effective Sat., Jan. 10 and Sun., Jan 11 from 7 AM to 11 PM, the right lane of Main Street will be blocked from the entrance of the Federal Building to 6th Street (the northern half of the block). The Metro Government Square bus stop on Main at 6th (Area H) will be closed during this construction. The Government Square mid-block bus stop (Area G) will remain open.

METRO’S 2009 BUDGET: SOME SERVICE AND FARE CHANGES

Service efficiency adjustments will impact less than 1% of ridership. Since late summer, Metro has been working with community leaders to address a projected $4.8 million 2009 operating budget deficit. ATTENTION RT. 74X RIDERS:
Effective Jan. 5, the first two Rt. 74X inbound trips will shift all time stops 5 minutes earlier. Click here to download a new schedule.

MOST METRO SERVICE TO USE 8TH STREET VIADUCT
Metro Rt. 10, 28, 32, 34 and 50 service, which has been detoured off of the 8th Street viaduct during construction, has returned to the viaduct as of the reopening, December 23 at 5 P.M. A few Rt. 33 morning and afternoon weekday trips are staying on the detour routing permanently to continue to serve jobs on Gest Street between Dalton and Depot streets. All other Rt. 33 service will operate on the viaduct. More...

ATTENTION RT. 3 AND RT. 3X RIDERS:
The owners of Harper's Station have notified Metro that, effective Jan. 6, 2009, they will no longer offer a park and ride at that location. And effective March 7, 2009, the Routes 3 and 3X will no longer be able to enter the property to lay over. There will be a new schedule issued in March of 2009 reflecting this change. Metro is looking for an alternate location in the area, but has not been able to secure one at this time. We will communicate with our customers as soon as we are able to find a location.

CHANGES TO BUS STOPS ON MAIN AT 8th ST. AND JUST SOUTH OF 9th ST.
On Main Street at 8th Street:
Routes 24, 43, 45 and 47 will no longer service this bus stop. Routes 2X, 3, 3X, 4 and 75X will begin serving this bus stop. Route 44X will continue to service this bus stop.

On Main Street Just South of 9th Street:
Routes 2X, 3, 3X, 4 and 75X will no longer service this bus stop. Routes 24 and 39 will begin serving this bus stop. Routes 17, 18, 19, 43, 44X, 45, and 47 will continue to service this bus stop.

NO BENGALS EXPRESS SERVICE FOR 2008
Metro will not operate express services to Bengals home games for the 2008 season due to recent changes in federal charter regulations.
